Bob

Golf Tournament
Highlands
Country Club
2010
marks the 29th year for this distinguished event hosted
by Highlands Country Club and played for the benefit of the
Highlands-Cashiers Hospital Foundation. This year the tournament will
be played on August 14. Played in honor of immortal golfer Bobby
Jones, the invitational features Walker Cup players. Since 1922,
every two years, the best amateur golfers in the United States compete
with those from Great Britain and Ireland in team play for the coveted
Walker Cup, with play alternating between here and overseas. Bobby
Jones was selected to play on five Walker Cup teams and chosen twice
to serve as team captain. All of us at HCH are deeply humbled and
grateful to Highlands Country Club for directing the proceeds to
benefit our hospital.
