Programs
Thank you for your consideration in joining the ranks of community
donors who recognize the importance of healthcare excellence for
themselves, their families and neighbors. Together, we can assure that
the best health care will always be in reach for our surrounding
communities.
There are many ways you can help:
Donation
by
Cash or Check
As easy as writing a check and generates a tax deduction for a
charitable donation. Every contribution, no matter the size is
greatly appreciated and plays and important role. Gifts of cash are
fully tax deductible – up to a maximum of 50% your adjusted gross
income, provided you itemize your deductions.
Champion
Donor
Club ($10,000 Annually)
Champion Donor Club members generously contribute $10,000 or more each
year. The Foundation is pleased to provide special honor for this
extraordinary generosity at the Annual Hospital Celebration of
Philanthropy. Champion Donor Club members also receive Master &
Platinum Key Club benefits.
Platinum
MasterKey Club
($5,000 Annually)
Platinum Key members pledge a minimum of $25,000 payable over a period
of one to five years. In addition to MasterKey benefits, Platinum
members receive a MedicKey which is a digital information chip loaded
with pertinent medical information and records that can be transferred
from hospitals, physician offices, and home via the USB port on most
computers.
MasterKey Club
($1,000 Annually)
Founded in 1991, this distinguished group of donors is a united effort
of caring neighbors committed to continuing quality healthcare both
now and for the future. MasterKey members pledge a minimum of $5,000
payable over a period of one to five years. Member benefits include a
hospital membership card, physician-supervised health screenings, flu
shots, HealthTracks, Healing Touch Massage and other discounts. Follow

Heritage
for Health
Society
Estate and planned gifts including bequests, trusts, annuities and
others are critical to preserving future healthcare excellence for our
mountain communities. The
Foundation aspires to ensure health and life for our communities now
and in the future by building reserves through an endowment fund.
Established for the perpetuity of healthcare excellence, gifts to the
endowment fund are permanently invested and only the earnings will be
used to support the most pressing needs of our Hospital. The Foundation is delighted to
honor those who participate in deferred giving to HCH by acknowledging
them in our specially prepared Heritage Society Membership Roster.
Heritage Society Members who have established deferred gifts of
$50,000+ are also honored at the Annual Hospital Celebration of
Philanthropy.
Honorary
and Memorial Gifts
The Foundation welcomes gifts in honor or memory of a loved one and is
pleased to notify the family of these thoughtful gifts through a
special acknowledgement letter.
In-Home
Philanthropy
We have learned that there are many people who want to support the
hospital in any way they can and have hosted unique fund raising
events in their homes or clubs. One event raised close to $10,000!
The possibilities are endless: theme dinners, bridge games, auctions,
sports tournaments, yard sales…let your imagination be your guide.
Our Foundation staff is happy to assist and coordinate with you in
creating your event.
